Sandoval County CASA
|"You go into a court room and you will see lawyers who know the law and have dozens of kids' files, or you have social workers who know the regulations and have dozens of kids' files. But if a CASA volunteer is in the room, you will see they have just one file, and what they know is that one child. And that can make all the difference to a judge's decision regarding the rest of that child's life. "|

The mission of the Sandoval County CASA is to advocate for abused and neglected children involved in the court system.
Sandoval County CASA is based in Rio Rancho and Bernalillo, New Mexico. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
There are numerous ways to volunteer in the Sandoval County CASA program:
CASA volunteers are the only volunteers that are appointed by a judge and empowered to stand up for an abused or neglected child in court. We hope you decide to join our family of volunteers, everyday people, who are committed to improving children’s lives.
