Welcome jurors! This is the website you will check every Friday through May 20, 2016 for instructions regarding your panel.

Please read the instructions carefully and notify your employer regarding your jury service next week:
Panels 1, 2, 3 & 4 are all on call next week. Panels 1, 2, 3 & 4 need to call the Jury Message Phone or check the website every day after 5:00 PM starting Monday, February 15, 2016 through Thursday, February 18, 2016 and listen for reporting instructions for the following day. The message will be updated every day at 5:00 PM with instructions for the next day. You must call the Jury Message Phone or check the website every day after 5:00 PM for instructions regarding your panel.
Please remember to check the Jury Message Phone or website the night before your panel is scheduled to report.

You must request excusal BEFORE your panel is called. If there is an emergency please call the Clerk's Office at 505-865-4639.If you have not been excused for the specific day you have been summoned for you are required to attend jury service when your panel is called.
Please refer to your jury handbook for details regarding excusal requests for specific dates. When your panel is called you are required to report unless you have received confirmation in advance from my office that you are excused for those specific dates..
You may notify us by phone, in person or by email of vacations, doctor appointments, training, work-related travel, school functions, field trips or any other absence related requests as soon as you know about them. We do not require proof of the excusal but we do ask for your consideration in notifying us before your panel is called.
Cell phones, food, matches, lighters and weapons of any type are not allowed in the courthouse, please leave them in your vehicle.
Remember to check the Jury Message Phone the night before your panel is scheduled to report to verify attendance.
Warning Scam Alert: There have been reports of someone posing as a court employee or law enforcement demanding payment of fines over the phone by credit card. The 13th Judicial District Court will never call and ask for payment of any fines by phone using a credit card. New Mexico law enforcement does not collect fines on behalf of the courts. If you have received a similar call, please call the Valencia County Courthouse at 505-865-4639, notify the Valencia County Sheriff's Office at 505-866-2078 and the New Mexico Attorney General at (505) 222-9000.
